Tightening and expansion of EU chemical regulation

22 Feb 2021. The tobacco industry will be keeping a close eye on proposed reforms to the European Union’s (EU) chemical control legislation. These will attempt, among other things, to combat ‘exposure to multiple chemicals from different sources over time‘ and ban any substance identified as an endocrine disruptor, both of which could adversely impact tobacco products.
